I have booked the astro at Longbenton for hockey training on Fridays from 4.00 until 5.00, starting this week. I know this is not ideal and some people will have lectures, but it was either that or 9.00 until 10.00 at night, which I'm sure you could all make, but wouldn't really be all that keen about?

Longbenton astro is where we also play all the matches - there is a map here. The easiest way is by metro, to Four Lane Ends. Go left out of the main entrance of the station, turn left at the junction/roundabout and walk down that road, past the pubs, to the traffic lights. Turn right at the traffic lights, and the astroturf is on the left after about 100m.

Everyone is welcome to turn up and play, if you are at all interested then please do come along! Any questions, let me know...

If you were wondering last week - training will still go ahead whatever the weather. Just bring waterproofs/gaiters/ice skates/snowshoes as well as the rest of your kit.

Training for this year is still to be confirmed, I'll let everyone know the details when it is sorted out.

Training is now half an hour later, Friday 5.30-6.30 at Longbenton, so hopefully those with lectures until 5 can all make it (so no excuses!)
