Thankfully after many panicking facebook messages, texts and calls we had 13 people for Sunday’s big match against the Monkeys and not the 7 that we thought were going to turn up. Last season this would have been a record turn out! Creasy and Ollie dominated play from the off, setting up an excellent goal from Angus. Unsatisfied with being a defender and missing out on all the glory Sam Lunn soon made the score 2-0. The defence were rock solid throughout the match allowing only 3 shots to be made at goal. This was pretty lucky considering the low quality goalie (me)! By the end of the second half the score was 2-1 to NUSSC.

The Monkey’s filthy tactics nearly won them a goal in the second half. After molesting Ellie at top D one of their players decided to slide tackle me, taking me out completely, my bandana then slipped down in my helmet, blindfolding me and he held me down on the floor as play continued around us. Filth. Hannah then retaliated by scoring goal number 3 putting us well in the lead.
