When the new 2007 mailing list was created the software system sends a welcome message to the initial set of people on the list (i.e. everyone who put their e-mail adresses on the list in Fresher's Week). Part of the message was as follows:

Welcome to the Nussc-2007@lists.senokian.com mailing list! To post to this list, send your email to: nussc-2007@lists.senokian.com

This means that if you want to send a message to everyone in the list, e-mail your message to the address given (new messages are moderated so keep it ski club related!).

It does not mean that you need to e-mail a message with your address to the list to subscribe to it - the whole point of this welcome message was to tell you that you had already been added to the list!

Apologies for the confusion, unless you were trying to send your e-mail around to everyone before the freshers social...

Also, make sure you check your Spam/Bulk e-mail folders, as sometimes messages to a list end up here by accident.

Finally, the following e-mail addresses are bouncing messages back with a 'failed to deliver', most likely because of a spelling mistake. If you recognise any of the e-mails as yours or a friends but slightly mis-spelt (or similar), please get in touch as we have no way of contacting you/them!
